Open Division - Men & Women

Eligibility:   This sport is offered at the Open Division level only, however, athletes under age 18 may be eligible. To determine if you are eligible for this sport you must read the  Eligibility Rules.

Tryout Registration Fee: $10.00 Non-Refundable.  You must register online before attending the tryout.

Rules: IJF Rules to govern event.  Judo Players must be members of USA Judo, USJF, or USJA.  Players may join US Judo at the regional trials site.

Tryout Format:  Participants must compete in a Regional Judo Tournament and finish first in his/her weight class to qualify for the Finals.

Regional Team: Each Region will qualify the top finisher in each weight class from the Regional Tournament to the Finals.

NOTE:  Weights listed are approximate conversions for pounds; kilograms weights as listed will be used.

57 KG - 126 lbs.		73 KG - 161 lbs.

70 KG - 154 lbs.		90 KG - 198 lbs.
78 KG - 172 lbs.		100 KG - 220 lbs.
Over 78 KG - Over 172 lbs.		Over 100 KG - Over 220 lbs.
