Open Division - Men & Women

Eligibility: To determine if you are eligible for this sport you must read the  NEW Eligibility Rules.
Additionally:  Applicants must be members of USA Cycling (USAC) Road/Track/Cyclocross.  A USAC license is required for participation. One-day USAC licenses will be available at the Regional Trial for a nominal fee.

Rules: There will be no Coaches Selections from the Regional Tryout; all other USAC rules apply. All bicycles must have a freewheel, two working hand brakes and plugged handlebars. Riders must wear approved helmet and ESG issued jersey at the finals. No allowances for mechanical failures and/or accidents.

Regional Tryout Format:  Cyclists must attend a Regional Tryout Race.

Regional Team: Each region will bring the top 10 men and top 3 women regional finishers to the Finals.

Events:  Those that qualify for the Finals must compete as follows:
Men: 10 Mile Individual Time Trial, 78 Mile Road Race, 32 Mile Criterium and 40 mile Four Man Team Time Trial.
Women: 10 Mile Individual Time Trial, 58 Mile Road Race, 20 Mile Criterium, and 25 mile Team Time Trial.
