2008 Empire State Games
Masters Volleyball
Men & Women
Eligibility:
1. Participants must be residents of New York State.
2. Participants must have reached their designated age group as of July 26,
2008.
3. Participants must attend the regional masters tryout and be selected to a
team.

Masters Eligibility Rules.
Fee: $25.00 per player (Fees will be collected by Coach after the team has been determined.)
Competition Format:
- Three Masters Divisions: Women 30+, Men 35+, Men 45+
- Maximum of six teams, per division.
The top team from each division for both men and women
per region is reserved a position in the competition. Additional 'At Large'
teams for each age group may be accepted based upon the total numbers of regional
teams participating in each division.
Entries: You may register online until 24 hours prior to the date of the tryout, or you may simply go to the tryout site (walkup entry) and signup on the day of the tryout. It is strongly recommended that you register online prior to the tryout.
Rosters: Are limited to 12 players per team and up to 4 alternates. Any roster changes must be submitted in writing and received at the ESG Masters Office no later than 1:00pm on Friday, July 18, 2008. Fees may be transferred to cover alternate players, whose name(s) must be included on the originally submitted roster, no refunds will be granted.
Competition Schedule: Saturday, July 26, 2008 SUNY Cortland, Lusk Field House.

each region to determine who will qualify for that

Enter second driveway and go all the way to the back. Directions from the South: 81 North to exit 15 (LaFayette). At the end of the exit ramp make a right on Rte 11. Proceed to the traffic light and take a right on Rte 20. Go 1/10 mile to Grimshaw which is on the right. Turn into the first driveway and go all they way to the back. |

ADIRONDACK REGION: Counties of:
Albany, Clinton, Columbia, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery,
Saratoga, Schoharie, Schenectady, St. Lawrence, Rensselaer, Warren, and Washington.
If your legal residence is in one of these counties, you are a member
of the Adirondack Region.
CENTRAL REGION: Counties of: Broome,
Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison,
Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, Schuyler, Tioga, and Tompkins.
If your legal residence is in one of these counties, you are a member
of the Central Region.
