PACKET DISTRIBUTION:
Packets will include:
- a Singlet for 10K Road Race
and Racewalks, Singlet and Number
for Track & Field, (shirt and number
must be worn in competition)
OR
- a T-shirt for all other participants;
- a Sweatsuit(if pre-ordered),
- an ID Card.
Competition numbers for Cycling, 10K Road Race and Racewalks
will be distributed at the competition
venue on the day of the event.

Wednesday, July 23:
10am - 4pm
Thursday, July 24; Friday, July 25:
6am - 9am; Noon - 3pm; 6pm - 9pm
Saturday, July 26: 6am - 9am; 2pm - 4pm;
6pm - 8pm
Sunday, July 27: 7am - 8:30am

Each athlete packet will contain:
~ T-shirt or tank top (depending on sport)
~ Master ID card (provides admission to all events, except Opening
Ceremonies)
~ Sweat Suit, if ordered and paid for with entry form
~ Track number if entered in track or field events
Please remember to bring a photo ID to show at registration
and before the start of competition. No packets will be issued with
out Photo ID.
Athletes in the following events may pick up their packets the
day of the event, at the event site, unless they have ordered a
sweat suit and plan to march at opening ceremonies.
Archery: 17C Sports Complex, Saturday, July 26
Bowling: Owego Bowl, All ID’s, Shirts and Sweat suits as stated
in advancement letter.
Cycling: Various event locations, July 24 – 26
Golf: Endwell Greens Golf Club, Friday, July 25
Marathon Canoeing: Hickories Park, Saturday, July 26
Swimming: Owego Free Academy, Friday, July 25, Saturday, July
26 & Sunday, July 27
Volleyball: SUNY Cortland (Lusk Field House), Saturday, July
26
Rugby: Uniforms will be issued to Coaches for distribution

PACKETS or MEDALS will NOT be
mailed to participants after the Games.
SWEATSUITS:
All Sweatsuits must have already
been ordered at the time your entry was submitted;
sweatsuits will not be available for purchase at the Games.
Pre-ordered sweatsuits and t-shirt/tank top
must be picked up at
the Games, no items will be mailed. Persons unable
to attend the Games may apply in writing by September 1,
2008 for a refund for the pre-ordered
sweatsuit only to:
Empire State Games, Masters Sweatsuit Refund, 1 Empire
State Plaza, Albany, NY 12238
ID CARDS: Each athlete
will receive an ID card which entitles them to attend any
event in the Empire State Games free of charge (with the
exception of the Opening Ceremonies).
OPENING CEREMONIES:
Wednesday, July 23, 7:30pm at Bearcat Stadium on the campus
of SUNY Binghamton. See below for additional information
(time, location, tickets, etc.). Final details will be available
at registration.

LODGING: Masters
athletes are responsible for their own room & board.
The Masters Host Hotel will be the Binghamton Regency.

2008 ESG TICKET
INFORMATION
|
|
|
|
Note:
The athlete ID card issued at registration is not
valid for admission to the Opening Ceremony; however the
ID card is good for admission to all other ESG events.
Athletes
who purchase an ESG sweat suit may participate in Opening
Ceremony by taking part in the Parade of Athletes.
If an athlete wishes to attend the Opening Ceremony,
but does not wish to participate in the Parade of Athletes,
he/she must purchase a ticket to gain admission into the
seating area. The Opening Ceremony will be held on
Wednesday, July
23,
at 7:30PM,
at Bearcat Stadium on the Binghamton
University Campus.

There
are three types of tickets offered for the 2008 Empire State
Games:

1. Master Pass
- $18.00 adult/$8.00 ages 6-12 |
| |
The Master Pass is good for admission to all ESG
events for the week, including Opening Ceremonies.
The deadline for mail orders of tickets is July
7, 2008 |

2. Day Pass
- $8.00 adult/$5.00 ages 6-12 |

The Day Pass is good for admission to all ESG events
for the day
on
which it was purchased. The Day Pass is available
for purchase only at the event gate. |

3. Opening Ceremonies
Ticket - $8.00 adult/$5.00 ages 6-12 |

The Opening Ceremonies ticket is valid only for
admission to the Opening Ceremonies. The deadline
for mail orders of tickets is July 7, 2008 |

|
The following
Masters events will have an admission charge: Diving
and
Gymnastics.
Again, the athlete's ID card is good for admission to all
ESG events (except as noted above for Opening Ceremonies).

|
If you
would like to pre-order tickets for the Games, please call
the ESG office at 518-474-8889 to have an order form mailed/faxed
to you. Remember, the deadline for mail-order tickets
is July 7,
2008.
There will be limited seating for the 2008 Opening Ceremonies.
It is strongly encouraged that you purchase tickets in advance.
