Masters Diving

Eligibility:  Participants must have reached their 21st birthday as of the day of competition.  For more specific details read the Masters Eligibility Rules.

FEE: $25.00

Events Contested: Solo Diving & Synchronized Diving

Competition Format - Solo Diving
- Age Groups (Male & Female): 21-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
- All dives may be performed from either 1m or 3m boards.
- Three (3) voluntary dives from three different groups with a maximum degree of difficulty of 5.7.
- Three (3) optional dives from three different groups, No maximum degree of difficulty.

Competition Format - Synchronized Diving
- There will be one age category for all competing teams. Teams may be formed on site.
- Team members may be from the same or opposite sexes as well as the same or different age groups.
- All dives may be performed from either 1m or 3m boards.
- Each team will perform 3 synchronized dives.
    The first dive must utilize a forward take-off for both divers. It will be assigned a dd of 2.0.
    The second dive must utilize a backward/inward take-off . It will be assigned a dd of 2.0.
    The third dive must feature both a forward and a backward/inward take-off. The dd of this dive will be determined by adding the actual dd of the dives performed and dividing by two. Rounding, if necessary will be to the highest tenth.
- A dive may be repeated by a diver if done from a different board height.

Competition Schedule:
- Solo Diving Competition will be Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Binghamton University.
   Warm-up: 5:30 pm
   Competition begins at 7:00 pm
- Synchronized Diving Competition will be Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Binghamton University.
   Warm-up: 7:45 pm
   Competition begins at 8:00 pm
