2008 Empire State Games

Masters Cycling

Eligibility: Participants must have a USAC road/track/cyclocross racing license and must be in the following age groups as of December  31, 2008: Age Groups: Men: 35-44; 45-54; 55-64; 65+ Women: 35-44; 45-54; 55+. For more specific details read the Masters Eligibility Rules.
 

Fee: $25.00 for one event. $5.00 for each additional event.

Events Contested: 10 Mile Individual Time Trial, Road Race, and Criterium

Competition Format:
- A Cyclist may race in any or all of the races indicated.
- A neutral jersey (no advertising) must be worn.

Racing Numbers: Cycling participants may pickup their racing number on the day of competition at the competition site. T-shirt and sweat suit (if ordered) will also be available on site, the day of competition, prior to the race. Athletes may pick-up earlier according to the packet pickup schedule indicated on the How to Register? page on this website.

Friday, July 25:  Road Race

   Men: Ages 35-44: 46 Miles; Ages 45-54: 46 Miles; Ages 55-64: 31 Miles; Ages 65+: 31 Miles
   Women: Ages 35-44: 31 Miles; Ages 45-54: 31 Miles; Ages 55+: 31 Miles

Saturday, July 26: Criterium
Site: Recreation Park - Beethoven Street, Binghamton
Registration: 8:00 am
Start: 9:00 am
   Criterium Race Distances:
   Men: Ages 35-44: 20 Miles; Ages 45-54: 16 Miles; Ages 55-64: 14 Miles; Ages 65+: 14 Miles
   Women: Ages 35-44: 14 Miles; Ages 45-54: 14 Miles; Ages 55+: 14 Miles
